Return to Virtual Worship

The CPC Session met Thursday evening (12/10/20) and made the difficult decision to return to an all-virtual worship format (no in-person worship) for the coming weeks. This includes Christmas Eve services. This decision was based on the current COVID positivity rates and the anticipated continuance of this surge for several weeks.

This is not the announcement the session wanted to make, but it is the right decision for the care of our community. The staff is working to finalize the transition to a live-stream platform for Sunday worship and Christmas Eve Continue to monitor the CPC website, Facebook and YouTube channel for worship and updates. Finally, despite the grief we share on this journey, Christmas isn’t about one night. It is about this:

Even if we cannot gather in person

Emmanuel, God with us.

Even if some Christmas traditions have had to go

Emmanuel, God with us.

Even if we might not get to hug family and friends

Emmanuel, God with us.

Even if we cannot sing carols beside each other

Emmanuel, God with us.

Even if Christmas cheer is harder this year

Emmanuel, God with us.
